What happens when you sit in a via ferrata set? 🤔

Today we confirmed that if you don't weigh over 400 kg, nothing happens. 🤷‍♂️ Only when the load exceeds 400 kg does the via ferrata lanyard start to slowly tear. 😴
However, the standard still says you can safely sit in it up to the weight limit of 130 kg.
What if you exceed this limit? In that case, we recommend using proper backup belaying based on the type of via ferrata.
