Swift is a very lightweight aluminium carabiner with a bent wire gate, designed primarily for use in quickdraws and for sport climbing, mountaineering and ice climbing.
The wire gate reduces the overall weight of the carabiner and is less prone to freezing or becoming clogged with sand and dirt. Its low mass also helps reduce the risk of the gate opening unintentionally if the carabiner impacts the rock.
The bent gate shape makes rope clipping easier and faster, especially during demanding climbing situations.
The carabiner is certified according to EN 12275 as a sport climbing carabiner.
